'건축가의 집' 은 부친이 오랫동안 건축가로서의 삶을 이어온 터에 다시 지어진 공간이다.

그의 아들과 동료 건축가가 그 흔적을 이어나갈 공간이다. 아버지가 남긴 건축적 유산을 계승하는 과정에서 그가 머물렀던 공간을 새롭게 다시 짓는 일은 물리적인 재생을 넘어, 그곳에 담긴 정신과 문화를 고스란히 이어가는 깊은 의미를 지닌다.
이제 그 터 위에 다시 세워진 새로운 건축 역시, 시간성과 지역성을 이어가는 일종의 '건축적 대화'이다

 

‘The Architect’s House‘ is the space where my father lived and worked as an architect for many years.

His son and fellow architect is set to continue his legacy. In the process of inheriting my father’s architectural heritage, remodeling the space he lived in is not merely about altering the physical structure, but also about carrying forward the spirit and culture embedded within it. The new building to be constructed on the site will likewise serve as a space that preserves the sense of continuity and local context, embodying what can be called ‘architectural communication.’
