문화재 지구 안에 지어지는 신축한옥으로, 기존 문화재의 시공관습을 탈피하고자 하였다. 전통방식에서 발전된 신한옥의 기술을 접목하였으며, 경량벽체 및 경량지붕을 도입하였다. 미래의 한옥은 전통구법을 존중함과 동시에 새로운 기술을 접목할 수 있어야 사용자 중심의 한옥으로 생명력을 연장해 나갈 수 있다.
 

As a newly built hanok within a cultural heritage zone, the design sought to move beyond the construction conventions of existing heritage buildings. It incorporates techniques of the new hanok developed from traditional methods, introducing lightweight walls and roofs. The hanok of the future must respect traditional construction while integrating new technologies, ensuring that user-centered hanoks can sustain their vitality over time.
