Living Heritage_주변과 공생하는 살아있는 유산

탁월한 보편적 가치를 입증받은 조선왕릉의 가치를 유지하기 위해서는 ‘살아있는 유산(Living Heritage)’으로써 주변과의 소통과 관계 맺기가 중요하다.
유산과 연결된 지역공동체나 관광객이 문화재와 어우러져 함께 공생할 수 있도록 하며 지형경관에 순응하여 낮은 아랫자락에 들어서 융건릉의 경관과 자연스럽게 스며들도록 계획한다.

To preserve the Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty, which are recognized for their historical value, thorough communication with the surrounding environment was essential. The design aims to allow the local community and the visitors, closely connected with this heritage, to live alongside it naturally. By building at the site’s level and providing access from its lower part, the view of Yungneung and Geolleung is subtly infused into the experience.
